Government Madanlal Shukl College Seepat is a co-educational post-graduate institute affiliated to Atal Bihari Vajpayee Vishwavidyalaya, Bilaspur (CG). The college was established in 12 Aug. 1986 to fulfil the Vision of imparting quality and job-oriented education with moral ethics and discipline. The college is situated on a lush green, sprawling campus of 24.74 acres, where in all efforts are taken to sensitize the students towards environmental protection. The college offers 04 UG courses in Arts, Science (Bio & Maths), Commerce and BCA, 07 PG degree courses (M.A. Hindi, M.A. English, M.A. Sociology, M.A. Political Science, M.A. History, M.A. Economics and MSW), Diploma Courses DCA and PGDCA. The college active units of NSS and Youth Red Cross Society, Red Ribbon whose members are dedicated to the welfare of the college. The current student strength is 1408. The college is endowed with facilities such as 21 classrooms, 06 laboratories, 01 computer lab, 01 multipurpose hall, a separate sports block and a separate library section, and canteen. The college has sufficient space for a cricket pitch, volleyball, basketball, Kho-Kho, badminton and other indoor / outdoor games. There is a great emphasis on the need for imparting quality education by following the Academic Calendar, conducting internal tests and their evaluation, enhancement of ICT aided teaching methods, organizing lectures, conducting competitions, celebrating events as per the state government directives, and motivating the students to ensure their moral and spiritual growth with social responsibilities and awareness.
